Look at the state of the country now. Everyone was shocked and appalled at the attacks
of 9/11 and have been ever since. And they should be. But now our war president says
that terror and this war is the number one priority and everything else should be on back
burner.
Look around again… Notice the amount of individuals dead every year in our country
alone due to pollution and Global Warming. Studies show that 160,000 people die a year
in relation to the Warming. And 3 Million worldwide roughly because of Air pollution
alone. Does this not turn heads. Probably not because we have gotten desensitized to it.
You had heard about it before odds are so much you neglect to flinch anymore. But
should this be a lower priority than 3000 individuals in an attack. Naturally no human life
lost is less important than another. But to take on a war and use this as an excuse shows
my point. Along with the many other excuses our leader chose until one stuck. Should we
care less about 3 million lives than taking over a third world country that doesn’t want us
there anyway. But our leader takes the best chance of helping this epidemic of a problem
and pisses it away. Speaking of the Kyoto Protocol. And his reasoning for this… Because
it could cost industry to much money. Hmm when did money for industry become so
important. And all the while this coming from a man who vast amounts proclaim to have
such great moral standards. Look at the use of the term Global Warming in America as
well. Or at least lack there of. When its brought up its said that its not true and is of no
concern. They brush it off as some conspiracy theory. But if one was to open their eyes
and see the melting of the glaciers the changes in climate, hell even the mass amounts
of hurricanes this year then maybe it would prove obvious. What was it something like
seven hurricanes or so in a matter of a months time. All of which stronger with each
punch. One even came back for seconds. Yet we are still told its a false thing. All this is
coincidental…. Really? Hmm I wonder. I guess its another one of these tell them what
they want to hear and they will not ponder. Lets deny it and lower the chance of panic.
Its a scary fact when our leaders do not tell the truth and when they talk to us as if we
were ignorant 10 year olds. I say once everything goes down hill so much that Day After
Tomorrow Occurs or a mass destruction of the like occurs then maybe the ones left will
then do what we currently do not…. Look at History and try to not do what was bad
before.
All I can say is I am not part of a fucking REDNECK AGENDA.

Well it is now proven. America is by far more ignorant than I could have ever imagined. And trust me, I didn’t have that bar to high. It is a sad day when a POLITICAL election is decided on RELIGIOUS bases. It is a sad day when the issue of a gay union, marriage what have you is more important than the air we breath. How can this possibly be an issue in the first place. First of all to all you Homophobic ignorant individuals out there. Ask yourself this question. What is one… ONE Practical problem with same-sex marriage.
Sanctity you say. Bah.. that is why there are Civil Unions. So that argument is over before it began.
Because the child will grow up gay influenced and become gay themselves. So I guess Straight parents have no gay children. There is another argument stuck down.
Because the traditional family is judged on reproductive bases. So I guess a man and a woman adopting and not giving birth to a child is not considered a traditional family. Another excuse wiped.
Because a child needs a father AND a mother. So I take it single parents make terrible parents. Another gone… Come on people is this all you have…..
Because we should not change something that has worked for so many years and things should stay the same. So I take it that we should should still own slaves, that worked pretty good for the holders for all those years. Or better yet I guess women should not be allowed to vote. That was a change I guess it was wrong….Shall I continue on this one or go ahead and say this is another argument struck down. I believe I will just strike it, obviously. Come on people gives some true reasons how this could possibly hurt you individually, personally.
Because it is protected and said by god that a man should not lay with another man or a woman with another woman. Oh now this one is classic…..Well lets see, I guess we should also stone people for crimes of thieving bread. Or how about this. Fine and prosecute someone for disrespecting their parents. Times change things evolve. Should religious issues tie in with political issues. SEPERATION PEOPLE SEPERATION. Think about that … There are reasons for this. Does anyone remember Europe… Kinda the reason we left is it not. Has history taught us nothing. We leave Europe because of a monopolistic religious ruling for here and freedom of our own beliefs. When we start tampering with this and incorporating religious (primarily Christian) issues into US law then we are no better than the very thing we left so many years ago. There you go another knocked down…..
There is NO practical problem with Same Sex Marriage. There is none. Not ONE. So I tell you this… with this issue primarily religiously swayed, we better stay weary of our actions when combining law and religion. There are no more Continents to discover. All we got is this, and there is nowhere to run when Religion is what rules the nation. And we all know what happens when this runs rampant. DO we forget the Crusades so easily, how about the Salem Witch trials, or many of the various massacres across the timeline of history where religion is the bases of reason given in the circumstances. Be far warned, this is bigger than you will first think.
