Damn Dirty Leftist Liberals

Where has our country gotten to when our leaders consider portions of our country Anti-American.
And the cliche Republican phrasing, Liberalism, Leftists. When did broad-mindedness, favoring reform and progress, tolerance, change become so Villianized. A word that is further defined as “not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or tradition has been attributed to terrorists, rebels, extremists… individuals bent on destroying our way of life. This is ridiculous.

The people that push this irresponsible mentality have baffled me to no end. Michelle Bachman has recently, as most of the country has witnessed (her career ending that is), stated that Liberal, Leftists are un-American, anti-American. What in the hell. You know, I am (and most would know, ;D) am Liberal, and I love this country. I am disappointed in this country, that is no debate, and I must admit there are things I DO hate about this country. Corporation rule, racial and sexual intolerance, lack of understanding, bully style tactics, top of the mountain mentality, high and mighty nature. But I would like to have the chance to take our country back. Of all countries in the world we do have the best rights (what liberties we still have left that is, but rights none the less). And there is so much that we could attain, more than what we have already. But everything has its dark side and that has become more and more evident over the past decade.

We have leaders speaking out that a large portion of our population hates the country. Not parts of it, it in its entirety. Is that not what the term anti-American means, Mrs. Bachman. And you Sarah Palin speaking on how you believe that large portions of this country just doesn’t have the heart and soul of America. That only the small towns are the breathing machine behind what America is. This is simply irresponsible and irrational. Simply despicable. Americans are American, this is why we are called “Americans”, am I wrong. We all feel in our hearts that we love this country, otherwise we would have left had we the opportunity. Or the means in recent circumstances of course. But it doesn’t take away the fact that also deep in our hearts and such as myself more vocal than others on the changes that we wish to occur.

We are at a point where we NEED someone in Office who is ready to lead and inspire people. A person with sound judgment a gift for gab. Hope is something humans strive for in times of need. Ergo religion in times of strife. Obama is the candidate for this. We need a person who can make people believe in this country again, and sway them from loosing more faith in what we have. We have been victims in the last 8 abysmal years of W’s leadership. We have to have a change. We have to give the people hope. And Obama can do that. You can knock him for a lot of things, including yeah he is Pro-Choice, BUT what happened to the Pro-Life of the mother. Obama is not going to come into your homes and cut the child out of your pregnant wifes belly. He isn’t going to go into your hospitals and ask room by room if teenagers want to have an abortion. NO, he does however want to give the mother the right to choice in situations whether it is justified for HER and her Family to have said child. Doesn’t she have the right too? Can the mother not choose to live if birth complications can be found early and avoided. Can rape victims have the chance to not have the constant reminder of the worst situation in there life day in and day out. Yes, they can opt for adoption, and you can say Oh so many parents out there would love to have a baby. Well adopt a child from foster care. Majority of women will still have the baby and either keep it or allow adoption. Simply because its legal does not mean that it will be the Norm, the new Fad. He didst say he wants it to be the new It Birth Control. And for you religious zealots out there. Is it not true that babies go to heaven that die at birth? And by the way if your one of those that think Babies are in forever Limbo or some bullshit like that, then please stop reading this moment, you do not deserve nor do I care if you read further. So if, by your book’s and faiths standards they go to a “better” place, then hey so what they bypass this, as you say “sinful place” and move on to the great afterlife. If gives the mother a chance to live or to have a life, and under your religious faith, the child is accepted early to the pearly gates.

Yeah he believes in Stem Cell research, oh the horror, killing those babies. Well now now, please check your facts, it doesn’t take fetuses to make this work and carry out research. This was debunked years ago when Bush got hammered on the fact. So thats all I have to say on that one.

He has lack of experience. This is a great one, I love hearing this one. Or better yet, oh you mean the Community Organizer. Hmmm, Yes I do. Can I ask you. What is a Community Organizer? Actually I will not even define that, I wish you to wiki that and see for yourself. That explains it far better than myself. And I will ask, how many of you have began your own American Civil Rights Movement, Anti-War Movements, Feminist Movement, or Gay Rights Movements. These are small fractions of what a Community Organizer does. I do believe these are very APT examples of the fact a Community Organizer isn’t some trash cleanup crew in reflective gear walking your highways. These are the people that make things HAPPEN. I say, this is the one-liner Republicans make in response to his experience and damn does it make me giggle more and more each time I hear it.

What else you say, how about Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, subcommittee membership to Children and Families and Employee and Workplace Safety under that. I could go on and on about his memberships but now your saying well what has he DONE. I was a member of Student Senate in High School and didn’t do shit. I want to see things he did.

Further, on the fact that he as voted present or not voted, and McCain is so high and Mighty that he never does such. Well hows this for numbers, missed roll call figures of Obama [314 of 1299 since 2005]. Missed roll call figures of McCain [746 of 4116 since 1995]

And for those saying Obama is the most Liberal member of Congress and most leftist Presidential Candidate in History, this, Figure (click here) , a study by a non-partisan Congress watch group puts Kennedy, Clinton and Kerry further Left than Obama. Even Lieberman (McCain’s lil Pansy ass-kisser) is nearly even with Obama on Liberal Bill Sponsership and voting…. which I must say right off in line with the initial point of my Blog, I still do not understand the Big Horrible nature of being a Leftist dirty Liberal. But thats neither here nor there. So there you have it. A non-partisan watch group has debunked whatever negative nature that particular aspect may have.

So please people check the score, look into the fact. Don’t eat every piece of bread the media dishes to you. Decide for yourself and analyze the facts.

Remember this, to be at the $250,000 salary level Obama calls for taxes to be increased on, you have to be making $120/hr or nearly $5000/week or even $20,000 a month. If you don’t make that, then HEY you will get a tax break when Obama is President. I may be reaching and could be far from the truth, but I am going to guess no one reading my irrelevant Blogged opinions comes near that type of pay. If you do, would you like to have lunch?
