Well America, I have been at work all day and it would be a travesty to myself if I did not comment on the monumentally historic occurrence that was last evening/this morning.
As of 11pm EST on November 4th 2008, Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States of America. A moment I have thought of since he came in as a Junior Senator of Illinois. I am actually at a loss for words quite honestly on many aspects. There have been few if any times in my life that I have been this passionate about one single cause. And in this particular event I will do my best to explain my thoughts.
My anger has been building for 8 years, my rage has increased exponentially every single year to the point I just wanted to scream. And the moment that I witnessed Obama claim victory over McCain, all of my years of anger focused into one single combusting point and released. The weight of anger that I have carried on my shoulder all this time was finally lifted when I saw my country rise up and take a stand. For the first time in my adult life I witness a nation take note of the countries direction, realize the problem and as one stand up and announce in one voice, “We will be heard, we can make a change, we can rise up, we can unite, it can be better, we can prevail, YES WE CAN!”
It was the most inspirational and proud moment I have witnessed in recent years. The nation truly showed that they are aware, and proved that as one, as long as a dream is there, things can be changed and dreams can come true. (Please Read On)Read the rest of this entry »

Sarah Palin has unwittingly taken a prank call from a Canadian comedian posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy and told him she may make a good president in eight years.
The Republican vice presidential nominee discussed politics, the perils of hunting with Vice President Dick Cheney, and Sarkozy’s “beautiful wife,” in the telephone call released Saturday.
When the caller told Palin she would make a good president, she laughed and replied: “Maybe in eight years.”
This is an exceptionally hilarious prank, yet it also presents more fears on her experience, or rather lack there of. The comedy duo utilized Canadian non-officials which she failed to realize. At one point even commented on that fact the falsely named Quebec Prime Minister was not at a recent rally of hers. She even noted that she would love to meet the fictitiously named Prime Minister of Quebec soon. BTW: There is no Prime Minister of Quebec, there is one Prime Minister and he is the head of Canada, not separate Ministers for each part of Canada.
Listen to the call below
This is hilarious in many aspects, yet a sad and scary aspect is to please take note the lack of knowledge that is apparent throughout her discussion. Also please remember that she actually thought the caller was President Sarkozy and still showed her ignorance of standing political figures of the country closest to her border.
Obama’s campaign spokesman Robert Gibbs made his own statement on the situation:
“I’m glad we check out our calls before we hand the phone to Barack Obama.”

This is true for Both sides. However the fact of the matter is far more negative, misdirected, ill context oriented, and misinformed ads have been used more so by one side in particular. And that sides not Obama and the Democrats, the facts have been studied and shown. And I am not just speaking about the Presidential race. One GOP candidate even ran an ad in relation to her oppositions belief in God, calling here and I quote “Godless”. Dole is currently in a defamation of character lawsuit for her words. This lawsuit will most likely be handled out of court which will ad to the guilt. She has already lost numbers in voters due to this change in political strategy. Which seems to be a trend with the GOP tactics this year. Once McCain went 100% negative during a poll in September (this being pre-September ads, current ads not withstanding)
Recently a fellow friend of mine sent me a combination of links. These links are all anti-Obama ads and videos.
Alright brother, I see you enjoy politics, and would like to debate and attempt to convert me… be careful what you ask for, Hahahah… Keep in mind everything following is in the spirit of debate and the fact of the matter is neither one of us or most decided’s out there for that matter will change their opinion on their candidate. This is human nature. Once a mind is made up its near improbable they will change it. Simply due to selective hearing, understanding, and perspective.
As for your links I have the following chain of responses. I watched and/or read each of the emails you sent with full attention and full focus. In the spirit of debate I only hope people do the same for my response.
Well where to begin… Twas a fun Old Hallows-eve, had a good time doing the Juno thing with my Lovely Jane (Juno), myself as the docile Bleaker. So definitely made for a worthwhile evening.
But I must draw myself back into opinions of the world as it is being molded.
Again, where to begin… 4 days left in the polls and here we are again, the constant usual negativity from the McSame camp. Something that has become more cliche and entertaining, rather than inspiring and thought provoking as the imbecile wishes it to be. It is quite interesting that the best the GOP campaign can come up with in the closing days of this election is something directly from the McCarthy 1950’s. Obama is a socialist and in lesser words, communist. How laughable and same time derogatory that they would resort to the later date McCarthy Blacklist sort of attacks.
For those that believe this is still a positive campaign and McCain has begun his uphill roll and truly think he has instilled a positive new insight to the masses, you are fucking insane. For real… that’s my only comment and outlook on sheep the likes of you. To honestly believe the negativity and hatred being spewed, spit and pissed around the USA like it has been from the McCain camp is honest hard hitting questioning and descriptions of Obama, you can only be insane. That’s all I can believe. And I must admit that its difficult to believe yet its fact that there is still a great deal of those out there that still believe in this mentality. But as I have said before, without the “insane”, how do you define and experience the “sane”.
